You’re not skipping Paul Simon.
You’re hearing him from the best seat in the harbor.

The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park sits right on San Diego Bay. JADA anchors alongside it and you hear every song of the actual live performance from the deck — your favorite bottle open, a great spread laid out, bay breeze, city skyline behind you. No one inside the stadium has a view like yours.

Two Ways to Board JADA

Pick the boarding point that works best for you. Both get you to the same place — the best seat at the show.

Option A

Harbor Island Sheraton

Board JADA directly at the Harbor Island Sheraton marina. Easy parking, Uber-friendly, right on the water. We depart together and sail to our anchor spot alongside the Shell.

Easy parking available
Option B

Coronado Dock by the Jet Ski Rentals

Once JADA is anchored at the Rady Shell, we ferry you out by dinghy from the adjacent dock by the jet ski rentals near the Coronado Ferry Building. Great if you’re on Coronado or taking the ferry over from downtown.

Scenic Coronado approach

Exact boarding time, dock slip number, and all logistics are in your booking confirmation.

How the Night Unfolds

From the moment you step aboard to the last encore — every detail planned, nothing to worry about.

🚢
5:30 PM — Boarding

Welcome Aboard

Step onto JADA at your boarding point. The crew gets you oriented and settled. Stake your spot on deck, pop open whatever you brought, and get comfortable.

6:00 PM — Underway

We Head to Our Spot

JADA departs and we make our way to our anchor position right alongside the Rady Shell. Drinks are flowing. The bay is golden.

🌅
6:30 PM — Anchored

Settled In, Front Row Afloat

We’re in position. Lay out your spread — cheese, charcuterie, whatever you brought aboard. The sun drops over the bay. This is the moment — before the first note even plays.

🎸
7:00 PM — Showtime

Paul Simon Takes the Stage

The show begins. You hear it live — the actual performance, across the water, with the San Diego skyline behind you and Coronado glowing to the south. Refill your glass. Settle in.

🎶
7:00 – ~9:30 PM — The Full Show

Every Song. Every Encore.

Paul Simon typically plays 2 to 2½ hours. We stay anchored through it all. No rushing to the parking lot. No leaving early. You hear every encore.

🌙
~9:30 PM — Nightcap

While the Stadium Empties Out

The show ends. The stadium crowd fights for the exits. You’re still on the water with a nightcap in hand, watching the city lights come up. No rush.

🏁
~10:30 PM — Return

Back to the Dock — Zero Traffic

JADA returns to Harbor Island, or we dinghy you back to the adjacent Coronado dock by the jet ski rentals. The lots are clear. What a night.

Your Ticket. Your Picnic. Your Night.

Think Ravinia in Chicago — where bringing a great bottle and a beautiful spread is half the tradition. Same idea, better setting. Your ticket covers the boat, the crew, the anchor spot, and Paul Simon. You bring the rest.

🍾 The Ravinia Tradition — On the Water
Chicagoans have brought wine, cheese boards, and charcuterie to Ravinia for decades — it’s considered the only way to do it right. Same idea here. Pack a cooler with your favorite bottle, a beautiful spread, whatever makes the night yours. No corkage fees. No judgment. This is your picnic.

Want help curating a spread? We can connect you with local San Diego artisan vendors who deliver a ready-to-board luxury picnic box to the dock. Just ask when you book.
Transferable Confirmation Codes
Every booking gets a unique code (e.g., JADA-0609-4829). Your plans change? Pass it to a friend or sell it. They show the code at the dock. No fees, no permission needed.

Good Questions.
Honest Answers.

Will I actually hear Paul Simon live from the boat?
Yes — that’s the whole point. The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park sits right on San Diego Bay. JADA anchors alongside it. The Rady Shell is an open-air amphitheater and sound carries beautifully over the water. You hear the actual live performance from the deck — not a stream, not speakers. The real show.
Can I see the current Rady Shell ticket prices for myself?
Yes — check the official Rady Shell event page here or go directly to Ticketmaster here. As of April 1, 2026, Marina seats were $1,050–$1,170 each on the resale market. Current prices and availability may be different by the time you look.
What are the two boarding options?
Option A — Harbor Island Sheraton: Board JADA directly at the marina. Easy parking, Uber-friendly. We sail together to anchor at the Shell.

Option B — Coronado dock by the jet ski rentals: Once JADA is anchored, we send the dinghy to ferry you out from the adjacent dock by the jet ski rentals near the Coronado Ferry Building. Great if you’re on Coronado or coming over on the Ferry. Your confirmation email will ask which you prefer.
What if I need to give or sell my ticket?
Every booking comes with a unique transferable confirmation code (e.g., JADA-0609-4829). If your plans change, pass your code to whoever is taking your spot — they check in with it at the dock. No fees, no need to contact us, no hassle.
Why does the price increase as June 9 gets closer?
We reward people who commit early. Early bookings help us plan crew, provisions, and logistics. We’re capped at 28 guests — once those spots are gone, they’re gone. Book by May 31 for $275. Wait until June 1 and it’s $325. June 8–9 it’s $375.
What time does the evening end?
Paul Simon typically plays 2 to 2½ hours — show ends around 9:15–9:30 PM. We stay through every encore, then have a short nightcap window on the water while the stadium empties. JADA returns to the dock around 10:30 PM — you arrive back to an empty parking lot and zero traffic.
What’s the weather going to be like?
June in San Diego is about as good as it gets. The bay is calm and sheltered. Bring a light layer for the breeze, but expect a warm, clear evening on the water.
How many people will be aboard?
Maximum 28 guests. We also require a minimum of 10 bookings for the departure to run. If we don’t hit the minimum, you get a full automatic refund — no hassle.
